The dataset consists of origami art pieces created by women detained at Yarl’s Wood Immigration Removal Centre. The art was collected as part of an exhibition to highlight the experiences of detainees. The studied population includes women asylum seekers held in detention, and the sampling procedure involved collecting art pieces voluntarily created by these individuals.
